Rates:
Rates are in US Dollars, are based on double occupancy, and exclude Vermont Lodging Tax (9% currently, 10% as of July 1, 2024). We have NO extra charges such as resort, gratuity or service fees. Please be aware of this when comparing our rates to other lodging establishments.
Deposits:
A credit card deposit with Visa or MasterCard is required for each cabin reserved. A declined credit card will void your reservation. An equivalent to one night’s lodging including tax will be charged at time of reservation for stays 5 days or less. A deposit of 50% including tax will be taken for stays over 5 days or for any weekly rate or for reservations of more than one cabin. Balances are collected upon Check-In. Gift Certificates are charged in full at time of order.
Cancellations:
Stowe Cabins in the Woods is a small, family-run business and cancellations affect us significantly. We guarantee your cabin(s) from the date of your booking and therefore turn away other business that we may have acquired for the cabin(s) that you have reserved. By making a reservation with Stowe Cabins in the Woods, you agree to accept our cancellation fees and refund policy. If you feel, for any reason, that you may not be able to honor your reservation and you do not like being subject to cancellation fees or nonrefundable deposits, please purchase travel or trip cancellation insurance. Parties who cancel on the same calendar date as their scheduled arrival, shorten their stay, or do not arrive on their scheduled calendar date (“No-shows”) are responsible for the entire period that they reserved. The County of Washington in the State of Vermont shall be the jurisdiction for any dispute arising from a reservation.
Refunds:
In order to receive a refund of your deposit (minus cancellation fee), you must notify us of your intent to cancel more than 14 days (30 days for holiday periods) prior to your arrival date. Holiday periods include Fall Foliage (last week of September through third week of October), Christmas Week, New Year’s Week, Presidents’ Week, Martin Luther King Weekend, 4th of July Weekend, and Special Event weekends. A $25 cancellation fee for each cabin reserved will be deducted from your deposit(s). If you cancel your reservation, for any reason, within 14 days (30 days for holiday periods) of your reservation arrival date, your deposit is not refundable. There is no credit or refund for early departures. Parties who cancel on the same calendar date as their scheduled arrival, shorten their stay, or do not arrive on their scheduled calendar date (“No-shows”) are responsible for the entire period that they reserved.
